Interesting...

If I open http://www.mazdamenders.net/forum/ on Firefox, log in, come to this page, click my http://www.mazdamenders.net/forum/ link it takes me to the main forum page as expected but I'm not logged in any more!

It is still not logging me in automatically. My user name and password are there but it doesn't log me in automatically.

Yeah i am needing to log in all the time, is there a timer set wrong somewhere IE:- say like e-bay when you log in on that and tick remember, it keeps your details for 24 hrs, should this not do it or stays for good? as i am sure users will get pi$$ed of with it and move on?

It's more than that, I think it's just not using the cookie. If you log in then click on the forum link again you will find that you are not logged in any more so it's not a time-out thing and it's clearly not using the cookie properly (not that I know anything about how forum software works).

Yep. I noticed that. Also if you got to the how to page then click back onto forum you have to log in again. But if you just keep clicking back your still logged in ? funny hu

Lazza is on the right track. The forum is configured correctly, Im having to work with our new host about allowing the way cookies are stored. This is a combination of maintaining strong security and recent EU laws. Its not a straight forward fix Im afraid and I have already spent a few late shifts and for sure will be spending all Friday night trying to fix it.

So your patience would be greatly appreciated.

We have a understanding, in that i will look after Andreys roadster, and he looks after our site, it's what it is all about,,,,,,old school thinking, you lads do it, and i have always done it,everyone gets what they need with nothing changing hands :coffee:
