Rear back box heat shield and foot rest

Postby Mazda Mender » Thu Sep 05, 2013 10:16 pm

Who has checked their rear back box heat shield on the Roadster? If not then go and check them, they are made of paper and rot like a good un to dust.

Well Vlad has made some alloy ones which are a direct fit after removing the OE one, it will not rust/rot and is lighter.

Mine was not in bad nick as i painted it nearly 14 years ago now when I imported her :handgestures-thumbup: but Vlads is just too nice not to fit it would be a crime.

The Mazda OE one.

Which model does the back box shield fit? And if it's the Mk2 do you have any indication on price?
