boot lid with built in rack

Postby Mxmurray » Sat Feb 07, 2015 4:13 pm

I'm looking for a boot lid (any colour but would prefer neo green) with the built in luggage rack/strips.
I can either swap for my boot lid with high level brake light or buy outright.
Close to north west if possible.
Cheers

Any questions then just ask. This one was fitted as new as far as im aware.
If you fit the rear cross bar to the two outer sections & use masking tape to mark out you shouldn't have a problem :handgestures-thumbup:

Hi all
I have Marked out the general position of these rails but then realised the rails seem to run along the cross members inside the boot lid.
Can anyone tell me how they are secured?
I'm thinking countersunk self tapping bolts as there is no access from within the boot but would like a confirmation on this before I drill the lid.
Here is where I'm up to at the moment.
The centre rails in the pic are not in the correct location, this has been addressed.
