I've just recently purchased a ms2 off eBay just waiting on delivery
Question is can anybody recommend me a boost solenoid and injectors that are of good quality but not stupid expensive
I've seen ebc for about 70 new is this the going rate
Injectors are my limiting factor as I want to up my boost level and see about 240-250fwhp so about 210-220whp
What are the best injector size for the boost level needed to reach this goal

Lots of people seem to be using RX8 injectors for that level of power. I haven't looks but they must be available at a reasonable price.
I have 550cc RC injectors which are barely ticking over at 240bhp.

Hello mate,
EBC - electronic boost controller - is not something I've had a lot of involvement with as all the turbo's we've worked with so far have been VTG (variable turbine geometry) or VVT (variable vane technology) units, or manual and vacuum driven boost control. We have an ex-WRC celica GT4 in at the moment which uses a fixed Garrett turbo and wastegate (an old-school setup) and that uses a G-Reddy unit, but I've not had time to play with it yet. G-reddy aren't cheap I know that much! but you can probably find something on the 'bay?
For injectors you're best off googling injector calculator which with some simple inputs for cylinders, RPM, fuel pressure availablilty (36-46 psi on a stock pump, but 240 is a big ask), etc. etc. will give your flow rates required. Go safe and never exceed 80% duty cycle. It sounds like Laz is around 50-60% on his which is very very safe
For suplly and help, find a guy on ebay/the web who trades as 'injectortune' - he knows his stuff and has worked with just about all things - he's who I use - and he's helpful

I don't see why not it cannot be used with it. it is only a control box at the end of the day, ,just needs to be wired in correct.

I dont know if the megasquirt has the facility to operate a boost controller. But to be honest i have a MS but don't know all that much about them to advise anyone.
Are you going to run 2 different maps with a high and low boost setting ?

No it doesn't it has it built in just need a boost solenoid so it can be turned up hence me asking about the solenoid in the above kit whether it would work or not

Right up my street. Call me next week on my mobile *********** The landlines down with the move to the new unit :(
Mac solenoids seem to be pretty much the best choice for ms2. Rx8 yellow injectors are great for 220ish bhp.

Thanks skuzzle I was looking at the mac ones on ebay as they stated they supply the big brands like AEM ect I've so been told I'd need bigger than 440 to be safe, as I want to run the standard fuel reg as the one I have is failing
I'll give you a call on Monday mate

What power do you want. 200whp is achievable on 440s

200whp is my target skuzzle, so as long as that do-able on 440cc on standard fuel reg I want to get rid of all the piggy back crap on the car like the rrfpr and emanage blue
If not then I'll just get bigger ones to run with standard fuel reg to get as close to 200whp as possible I'm currently on rrfpr 295cc injectors and emanage blue at 190fwhp so a big jump like that would be perfect
