Fresh from the kitchen - Jass Updates!

Postby jass » Sat May 25, 2013 9:56 pm

First of all thanks to Wayne for this sub-forum. I find it great idea to give and get feedback about the existing and new coming products.
Same idea with this topic - someone might be interested to see whats cooking at the moment in the Jass kitchen, Jass will be more than happy to have the feedback of everyone on this forum and eventually to improve before it is too late:).

Happy to be here and thanks to everyone in advance for the feedback! :bow-yellow:

Ready and available for sell at Autolink (I dont have them in UK yet:)) - the Drift Buttons. CNC made, specially designed for MX5. Tested on MK1 so far only (unless Andrew or Wayne have tested on their cars already? ):

50mm solid gearknob in two versions - for the ones who prefer to rest their hand on the gear stick - the classic version, and the second version for the ones holding it as stick on the side (usually, when changing fast).

Need to make comparison pics for both of them.

The Tombstone - an older project, close to being finished. Need some final touches uniqueness and a bit of free time:

Vintage el.window toggle switches with cupholder/ashtray surround:

Only few "prototypes" are available at the moment, so not officially released.

The scuttle panel made of mirror polished stainless steel with brushed plate:

Other than being shiny and adds to the rest of the engine bay items it will not let the hot and dirty engine gases into the passenger compartment as it preserves the very important firewall seal.

Nothing to do with performance actually, but I needed this badly to stop the rattling I had for years. All other measures just worked temporary.
Its the bracket that holds the exhaust to the gearbox, very often rusted or already smashed and being lose. Now its available for everyone.

Never mentioned the boot light!
MK1s are naturally missing a light in the boot, now all other car should be envy seeing this:

Image

Its a clever kit, that plugs and plays to the fixing of the rear boot catch and get the power from the battery. Of course fused and of course works only with the boot open.

Those have been tested already on one track day, next one is one the 10th. The design varies already, but all is quite close to production.

I think, Andrew has them already as well, however they can be ordered as well from the jass shop or here. We had a talk with Wayne a while ago about 10% discount for mazdamenders forum members, I dont remember if we got to making it official, but it would apply in this case as well.
