All you need is a old container 20/25/30 ltr etc and a cutting tool, grinder etc and eye protection..
So get your old container and wash it out first....

Mark it up all the way around so you have a line to follow, there should be a molding edge to follow...

Put your eye protectors on as the plastic bits can fly...Then it is just a case of cutting it with the grinder and a thin cutting disc all the way around. At the handle bit, cut as much as you can from the outside, then turn it over and separate the two halves. Finish cutting through the handle section from the inside.

Once cut, you can tidy up the edges with a utility knife, file/sand paper etc. With keeping half of the handle on each half you have something to hold firm while pouring the waste into another container which is another reason we keep half of the spout, so we have better control in pouring out..
A 20 ltr then becomes to half's that hold 10 ltrs...25ltr comes to 12.5 ltrs and a 30 ltr becomes two 15 ltr catchers. They are quick to make, cheap to get and can be used many times, for all different fluid draining.
In use - draining a radiator of coolant....
