Can someone tell me which anti stone chip paint to buy for the sill and what primer does it need?

Hiya Bud,
We use gravitex which comes in a litre bottle that you need a stone chip gun for. We find this gives the best performance and texture. Aerosols are ok but dont give the same texture as the original finish. Just make sure that it is over-paintable too as there are a few around that arent.
Primer wise, as a bodyshop we only use 2k primer but a good quality aerosol primer would suffice for a DIY job. Make sure that you do not put too much on at once, more thin coats is always better than trying to go thick straight away.
