There are only FOUR different types of belts on all MX5s up to 2005 (Mk2.5).

ALTERNATOR BELT:

MK1 1.6 ONLY 1989 to 1998 - Uk and Import

V Belt - 13mm by 900mm

ALTERNATOR BELT:

Mk1 1.8 - 1993 to 1998

AND

MK2 / Mk2.5 1998 to 2005

4pk - 890mm (four ribs and around 890mm long - can be between 885 and 895mm long):
