***This is for manual drive only, Auto guide will follow***

There are a lot of owners out there that are unaware that when swapping a diff for a different gearing set up you will also need to change the gearbox speedo drive...
Fortunately there are different colours for these drives which makes it a lot easier ..
The MK 1 from 1998 to 1997 was a cable driven speedo...
The MK 2/2.5 from 1998 to 2005 was a electric driven speedo...
The gearbox speedo drives are not interchangeable the electric converter cannot be removed from off the drive sender...

So this is just a quick guide/reference to the different speedo drives which should help...

Mk 1 1989 to 1993 1.6cc 4.3:1 gearbox speedo drive RED...
