Geometry settings

Postby zeolite » Tue Jan 31, 2017 2:19 pm

I did a search on this but what I found was from a couple of years ago and I wondered if things had moved on or peoples opinions had changed.

The Nevada should be heading up to our local race preparation outfit (Falkland) for geometry setup. We have replaced bushes, dismantled suspension etc so it has to be done. Now they can set it up any way we request or they have experience with some MX5 race cars from the Knockhill series (now defunct I believe). I also read on here about standard and fast road setups so I was looking for experiences and opinions. The car is going to be used for tests and autosolos so turn in and throttle steering response are priority. High speed stability and tyre wear not so much.

I would appreciate your experiences and opinions.

Thanks
