Hood reproofers - suggestions?

Postby binarypunk » Thu Nov 14, 2013 2:39 pm

It's time to reproof my hood again...

Last time I used renovo stuff, because it came in the boot when I bought the car, and it seems to have done ok (2 years not bad?) but I was just wondering if there are any other recommendations or a non-specific cheaper product that works just as well...or better?

If its a vinyl hood then boot polish is a good cheap alternative. I use Renovo on mine too though :coffee:

I figured as much... I just like to check every now and then that I'm not missing out on the latest big thing. :-)

Renovo it is...it's looking a little grey too so picked up the cleaner and reviver at the same time to give it the works when I've got a moment next week.

i used auto glym on 4 of my previous convertibles and they kept going moldy within 1-2 months , I always thought it was me doing it wrong but now know it must be crap autoglym as the renovo did the job great .. just need to do this car with it now
I remember the days when ‘Blue Ray’ was an elderly gentleman who drowned in our local swimming pool.
