It is a shine competition not OE equipment, the shinier the better hence the Zorst is going on along with some other non OE bits, don't worry it will be all put back for the National I hope.

Started to check over the front today, took off the disks to fit the show ones and repaint the calipers.

Image

Took off the undertray to fit some new bolts on the rack and fit the new radiator

Image

Meanwhile Barry had gone round the car and reached the bonnet with first stage polishing, the results speak for themselves.

Final day of prepping, I spent the morning fitting a new radiator made a big difference to the appearance

Image

Autodetox also finished today with a 2nd stage Menzerna polish followed by Auto Finesse rejuvenate cleaner, then some Auto Finesse Illusion Show Wax

Image

I prepped the wheels with Zymol Glasur Wax and Auto Finesse Tyre Shine

Red un placed 3rd. After fierce competition from 2nd place Mk1 Cortina and 1st Place Mk1 Escort fully rebuilt with VX Red top and Twin Carbs. Many thanks to all the team at Autolink. Well chuffed after all the hard work from everyone involved.
