I tried a lot of differebt products when I got my 10AE as it was one lady owner for 8 years and the hood was fillthy. Mission was get it back to blue.

Renovo completly underwelmed!! Won't touch the stuff now

Eventually the best was the Autoglym Bumper Care I did it in small areas with a nailbrush, then wiped off as much as possible, brilliant.

But I did learn use too much and you get white gooey marks that run off onto the body, or you get sticky bits that dirt adheres to. Golden rule is work quick and buff off whilst wet.

Really? I've always been very happy with it! Did you do it as per the instructions using the cleaner and proofer?
