2002 reg mk2 immobiliser seems to have developed a fault on immobiliser after battery failure during lockdown

Got a problem, need some advice ?

please advise car started after battery replacement but 5 mins later after short drive immobiliser and either of the 2 keys do not want to talk. Car electrician checked and says fault seems to be with immobiliser will I need to replace :handgestures-thumbup:
