I have not tried the spray, is it rubbish? i can see there being more chemical than lube to be honest so it is thin enough to be sprayed out of the tin.
The only lubes in a can i highly recommend is wurth penetrating oil/ freeing up oil 2040 or plus gas and Hellfrauds own branded silicon lube spray.

When I used it on my new brake pads, it was quite runny and I found it difficult to get a decent layer of the grease as it just ran off. I also sprayed two slider pins (Not on MX5) and it worked, but the floor had twice as much copper grease as the pins.

Personally I would not recommend.
