Grampian Tayside Tech Day April 2015

Postby drumtochty » Sun Apr 12, 2015 11:25 pm

Had 11 cars turn up for the Tech day.

First car on the lift at 9:00 last three cars left at 17:30 it was a long day for me.

The good lady made lots of bacon butties and they all dispeared together with scones, biscuits, tea and coffee and two big pots of soup.

No one left hungry.

Main technical note for me is that a 2006 Mk3 was there that has lived at the mouth of the River Tay / Noth Sea all it's life and last year had its rear arches rustconverted and resprayed.

This April it is through again. So not looking good for the Mk3's as they get a bit older but we do use lots of salt on the road in North East Scotland.

Yes it is lovely to have that facility and to do things at your own speed with no one chasing you.

Apart from MX5 Tech Days.

You know the problem you invite them once and feed them and they want to come back again.
