A numpty in Scotland.

Well it goes like this.

Been up in Scotland since Monday. Driven over 1000 miles event free and mostly topless all the way then today yes Friday 13th!

We were driving back from Rannock Station when the heavens opened so top up, lights on (side and driving lights) all the way back to The House of Bruar.

On arrival clear blue skies, so we parked up and spent three hours shopping and eating.

Returned to the car and then it dawned on me. I had left the lights on.

In hope turned them the lights off and tried the ignition, you guessed it NOTHING not even a click.

Thankfully two saviours in the form of a Scotsman and an Austrailian came to our rescue and gave us a push start.

So the question is, am I looking at a new battery or is the light drain about right?

She has never failed to start but there again this numpty has never left the lights on before.

She has had a good spirited drive back to Pitlochry and our host is lending me his battery charger to give the battery a little tickle for a few hours in the hope of putting some life back into the battery.

Over to Fort William tomorrow for three days and now worried about parking up to find a non starter when we get back to her.

So as the wife said :text-imwithstupid: and its all my fault.

Comments please but be nice to me. :bow-yellow:

You mentioned side lights and driving lights were on...if so that will drain fast...but she went with a push start...she should be fine now.. Panasonic gel or wet cell?...and yes fit a lights left on buzzer...there is a guide on here.
