Hello mate, sorry for not replying sooner. The problem you have is you are looking in the wrong place :)

What you have found are the guides for using this forum. The How Tos for fixing your Five is under a section called "The Workshop Servicing Manual" and can be found directly at:
viewforum.php?f=113

This section is publicly available to all (so you dont even need to be logged in to see it).

If you want to find it yourself without a link, make sure you are on the front page (click on "Board Index" which is top left hand corner just above the donate button) then scroll down till you see a big blue header saying "Workshop Manuals.." Etc.

If you need any further assistance feel free to pop me a pm :handgestures-thumbup:

While we are on the subject...

Is there a link on the forum to the how tos that are on the mazdamenders.net page?

Couldn't find one the other day when I was trying to point someone to the ABS sensor replacement one, and had to use the main site address. (it may be I was looking in the wrong place as well!)

Did you get it in the end buddy.

Yes found it OK Wayne- all I did was to edit the address bar to go to the main page.

Surprising how many times I end up pointing people to it.......Might have to update it slightly though as there now seem to be cheaper EBay front sensors available-just waiting for some feedback from people that have fitted them

Just be careful with this cheaper Chinese stuff, they are just not made to the same standard, i had a fault that kept showing on the 2.5 i am using at the minute,it turned out to be an aftermarket crank sensor, which the last owner had fitted not long ago, it was throwing faults out at 83 mph every time, good s/hand OE one fitted ,not had it since, you know the old saying...... you pay for what you get.

Agree re the cheap sensors Wayne. That is why I am waiting to hear some feedback.

I would not expect a twenty pound sensor to last as long as an OEM but if it does the job and at about a tenth of the cost........

I know of one owner who has bought a pair for his NB, but am not sure if he has fitted them yet -well he dd go and buy another one (a 2,5 ) recently-I think that takes his tally to five.......
