Summer time is on the way

Postby paggers » Mon May 19, 2014 10:13 pm

I thought it was time to stick my head back up and say hello. It has been a quiet winter, the Mk2 project car stayed quietly under it's cover from mid-Autumn all the way around to last weekend and aside from a blocked drain hole causing flooding (fortunately in the driver's side) I haven't had to do anything on the Mk1 either. I have had far too much hassle with the 'family' car which had to be replaced ... again, to be really interested in 'fun' cars.

But at last the decent weather is back and I got the cover off last weekend, bolted a few things back on, and felt the menders' thrill coming back. Definitely need to think about converting the garage back into ... well, a garage so I can work on cars over the winter. But that's probably not gonna happen any time soon.

Still, it's good to be back. I'll catch up on the forums and see what you have all been up to over the past few months. Perhaps I'll even get the Mk2 up and running fairly soon - if I can find all the bits and remember where they go!
