Thinking of an induction kit for 1.6 mk1.

Postby bayzil » Fri Feb 23, 2018 11:26 pm

Would one of these fit with a strut brace in situ...have a feeling the cone filter would get in the way,or would it be either or?
Also, I see on doing some research I see that there are COLD AIR kits available. Are these the same as induction kits with the cone filter?
Apologies if these are simple questions, but I'm trying to learn to do stuff!!
Many thanks.!!! :handgestures-thumbup:

They will fit with a strut brace as long as you get the correct kit....and yes cold air kit means the same thing buddy...
All ours have them fitted...

I have had both a K&N and Pipercross cone filters fitted to a mk1 with strut braces and no problems.

I never went down the line of the cold ait feed as I was more than happy with the added induction sound. Performance gain is minimal but the sound and grin factor are fantastic.
