MX5 Bleed Nipple sizes

Postby goodwoodmx5 » Wed May 19, 2021 7:19 pm

Can anyone tell me if all Mazda MX5s - Mk1, Mk2 and mk2.5 inc big brake models - use the same size brake bleed nipple on the front caliper? Specifically I want to know whether a bleed nipple from a 1.8 Mk1 will fit a Mk2.5 big brake caliper. Can anyone confirm this is the case please?
Thanks
Steve

The same front brake bleed nipples fit the Mk1 through to the last Mk3 in around 2015. The same part fits the Mk2.5 big brake front caliper to specificaly answer your question.

The rear bleed nipple is the same on all Mk1, Mk2 and MK2.5 cars, including th big brake cars. The front and rear brake bleed nipples are not interchangeable.
