Going to add air conditioning to my NB10AE in a couple of weeks

Postby MarkEt » Wed Aug 10, 2016 8:25 pm

I have gone through the tech manual found on the internets and I have the Haynes manual too. I have the electrical schematics.

What else do I need ? We're gonna swap parts between two 10AEs, so... apart from a dryer bottle I should not need new hardware.

Anyone got the part number for the pipe seams ? I also need some air con lubricant.

And maybe a torque wrench ?

Mmmmk. It's badly leaking. They couldn't pull a vacuum.

Now I'm waiting for them to get some nitrogen and I'll go and help them find the leak(s).

Tadaaaaaa the air is cold !

There's such a thing as a bad o-ring. I replaced all the rings but one of the replacements was a bit too thick.

They located the leak and replaced the faulty o-ring. And I happily froze my ass off riding back home.
