Re: Project 16 arrives at Wayne mansion White 1.8 Mk 1,which is for Ashleigh
Foundations went down in Late September/early October, so both bat cave 1 and 2 have been built through winter in all that wet cold weather with a thanks to Chris Holden who jumped in to help with number 2....starting to go through everything and organise all the parts etc, and it's the garage next to attack, new roof, floor ,doors windows loo and sink, electrics and lift etc + + ....but cash is always thin with this stuff as it all soon gets used, than into the projects again, we have not stopped , it's just not so much car related at the minute.

Re: Project 16 arrives at Wayne mansion White 1.8 Mk 1,which is for Ashleigh
The last bits of the list to finish, this one being a new/better passenger side front wing, also both rear sills and arches , and a removal of surface rust , under seal/treat and all box section cavity waxed...
A front wing as been found, striped right back ,hit with some treatment and sprayed satin black and fitted, the people/garage? that had replaced this wing in the past had clearly snapped all the rain channel 10mm head bolts and drilled the snapped studs out, but....they have drilled them out with a 6mm bit and just put a nut and bolt straight through instead of 5mm or 5.5mm drill bit and re tapping, so the holes are to big , i cannot live with that not being right, so next time the welder is out ( rear sill and arches) i'll plug weld them and drill them out correct to satisfy my OCD.
But everything else came off as it should ignoring the nuts that had not been re fitted at the last attack by who ever, all good now. so wing swapped out, another off the list, and looking at the wing removed ,i can save that also which will come in handy for one of the other projects down the line...
Gave her a good clean, and re ashed the engine bay...
