The air in take, zorst and wheels will be up for grabs if anyone is interested.

Well we started ripping her apart and i have never seen so much water in a roadster, but the ECU is fine so time to remove the whole interior to dry her out the rain rail is the issue????? so hard top on for the time being, first to sort was the brakes, as there was none? unsure what the last owner tried to do, but the cheap nasty caliper on the passenger side rear went straight in the bin, there was no fluid in the system? but they had fitted new pads all around, good couple of hours later we had a very nice braking system again and hand brake.
Next was the electrics and the major budge with the battery connections and there immobiliser switch which was super dangerous, so all that came out and am waiting on a rear loom section to put it all back safe and correct again.

She will need a new passenger side front wing, and both rear sill sections sorting, but other than that she is dead solid, no issues with the jacking points etc

Started to sort out the boot area and engine bay clean , the sh*t is holding on for dear life in the bay and is taking some getting off, but it is clean and rot free underneath, need it clean so i can start on the service etc, witch will be a full hit, also started a clean of the underneath etc ready for surface rust attack and under sealing .

Drivers door is a UK spec winding window and the passenger is the Jap spec electric so i'll get that sorted, odd key for the boot so i cannot have that ,so a new lock set will be fitted, one key, you know what i mean ;0), plus a electric boot release, with her being an early bird she doe not have a boot popper, interior plan is fitting a MK 2 V.S cab, and MK 2 suspension, may even super charge her yet?.

She is a 1.6 5 Spd manual H reg Eunos import.
As you can guess there is a big personal list , so to much to write down, but will list them as i go, and add pics as i do.

Wow, quite a bit going on there.... I will enjoy watching this one.... especially as you talked about supercharging it. I watched a Auto Express video on you tube last week where Scuzzle Motorsport supercharged a Mk2 and put it against a new Boxster. Its worth a watch if you get the chance. :text-goodpost: :text-coolphotos:

She is solid, the only reason the passenger rear sill as popped is because the hood was fitted bad and the rain rail is smashed, there is a dented front passenger wing which i will just replace, but she is solid, jacking point are good, so is all the underneath....

Unsure what planet the last owner was in on the brakes, but she arrived with no brake fluid in the system and no handbrake with a cheapo e-bay special caliper on the passenger rear....it went straight in the bin, there was new pads? so a couple of hours later after we attacked the braking system and removed the copper slip from off the slider pins and wells, and did not give up on getting fluid through the system and bleed off, we now have very nice brakes that work and a handbrake....

All the front end as been taken off greased up and put back together again ,anything that needed replacing has been or up graded, Passenger front wing swapped out but found that the drivers is sha**ed at the bottom after the field fell from behind that looked like a mole mound on the block paving, new drivers door ready to be fitted to swap out the UK one that has been fitted, sorted out all the wiring including the stone age immobiliser system the f**king mess that was powering the HU that would of been in there, so HU fitted correct and all wiring now safe.
Zorst swapped out to and a very good s/hand cat, electric mirrors fitted to wire in some other time.

Who ever owned this roadster and thought that they know what they were doing should only be forced to use a push bike/skates or skate board for the rest of their lives.

So the next job/s were to swap the drivers door and full lock set.....

The drivers door was a UK spec door with wind up window and the passenger was the roadster door with electric, i was not happy with the door anyway so we built one up to swap, well good old MR cack handed fudge wit had worked his magic yet again, the winder handle was held in place with twisted wire, the hinges were held with one bolt in the top and bottom and a mass of co*k up bolts, nuts etc were everywhere, no membrane, spring broken on the mech, weather strip clips missing, i hate this last owner with a passion.
Anyway the door is on fully now working like a good un including new speaker, then we hit the passenger side which should of just been a door card swap and lock barrel change.....i wish....more co*k ups from Mr f*ck it anything will do, no membrane again and the electric motor cable wrapped around a 10mm nut that holds the motor in place, so the search for yet another membrane and passenger side electric window mech in the cave of wonders while Daryl changed the barrel lock, once all in and sorted i then went to change the speaker which the kind sole had stick in place the silicon sealant  and then once i had removed it and all the sealant it was no shock to the system to find house hold screw electric blocks again....so soldering iron out etc to but right.
If anyone is doing any DIY and needs some wood screws ,i have a shed load from this roadster, apply by P.M  but all back together and window is running like a train, and we managed to finally get the door card on.
Changed the glove lock ,centre arm rest and boot lock, so only ignition barrel to change, also went to sort the dial cowling ,yet more wood screws and sealant, so search was on for a cowl, fittings and trim screws for everything that was missing them including the correct ones for the door cups.
After a full day at it to just change the lock set, one door two speakers and two door cards i was left knackerd, hungry and pi**ed with Daryl.
Some pics to follow... :coffee:
