Ah, okay. Thank you very much for the help.

One more thing, another person I asked mentioned a starter motor inhibitor. Is that something I can leave unplugged also?

Sorry for the delay in responding.

'd be swapping the running gear from a 1.6 91 manual car over to a 1.6 91 auto I've acquired. I have both complete cars at the mo.

I've seen the various guides on the web and was hoping you could steer me in the direction of what's actually needed as the guides seem to suggest a complete rebuild.. My plan would be to swap over my manual engine/box/ppf/rad/ecu, only changing what's essential on the auto shell to get it to work/look like a manual.

Appreciate its difficult but a quick list of what I'd need to swap/change would be really useful.

You do not need to swap the engine, inlet, rad ,ECU, brake pedal or ignition lock.

Sorry, should have added that the engine in the auto is dead, hence swapping my manual one over.

Aside from the obvious, what's the minimal that needs doing to complete the conversion?

Thanks

Sorry for the delay - will be starting the work at the end of October, bit of a winter project.

My plan was to start stripping whatever isn't needed out of the auto shell first, get the wiring etc sorted (where necessary) and then drop the mechanical stuff over last.

So just scoping out how much i'll have to change on the auto before I start pulling it apart - obviously I could drop all of the running gear out of my manual, which if its easier I may well do - just more bits to remove from the auto shell.

thanks
