Just had a quick peruse of the entry list for the Speed Trial to see how many of my car club mates are doing it, and how many MX5s :-D Should really be down there but work keeps getting in the way.

Found three 5s, two of which are members of one of my car clubs and some other chap named Andrew Stott.......

Sevenoaks seem to have four people entered that I can see-two MX5s and two Mustangs, mind you Joy's car (an NA) is down as a Mazda Lumos :-)

I will have to check back later to see if any results have been posted.

Here's the in car video (taken with my phone) of my timed run at Brighton Speed trials. I came 18th out of 43 in the handicap with a 15.89s standing 1/4 mile.

There were a couple of other MX-5's there too.
Regards.

The Blue 2.5 is a Sevenoaks member Russ Burton and does sprints, The newly spray wrapped Mk1 was Joy Waiton who does just about everything, including Autotests and was at the Tunbridge Wells final yesterday

I did find a few more Sevenoaks people including a Viva, a Porsche GT3 an ecotec powered Frogeye, and the quickest of the lot with a 11.81 129MPH run was the Sylva Phoenix running just under 400BHP
