Fuel starvation.

Postby nedski » Thu Jun 26, 2014 10:45 pm

We have two mk1's I take on track but one suffers from fuel starvation on longer g force bends.
One is fine even at well under quarter of a tank of fuel.
The other starts to play up at just under half a tank. This is my turbo car and apparently the last owner mentioned it had had a Jackson fuel pump fitted.

Anybody had similar problems with after market fuel pumps? If not I'm thinking the last owner hasn't fitted it properly. :confusion-confused:

on a side note mate, as you track it and she's a turbo, I'd be fitting a swirl pot ASAP. Lean is your enemy!!!
