Merc pedal covers on a Mx/Roadster

Postby Mazda Mender » Wed May 09, 2012 9:43 pm

I have been doing this for years, why pay for cheap tacky pedal covers when you can have luxury s/steel Merc pedal covers on your Mx/Roadster
There are a couple of different sets that will fit with a bit of Know how, they will fit all models including Autos and manuals, depending on what you need and buy, this is just one set which is one type of the manual sets, and what to do....
First you will need to cut the rubber off at the back so they are flat, and with this set, cut the faster pedal just after the 8th rubber dot(some faster pedals you do not need to cut, pepending on which set you get?)

You will also need to drill the holes for what ever bolts you are going to fit these up with, on the faster dedal there is no need to drill just use a stanley blade( use common sense please) to remove the rubber dots in the pic, the clutch and brake covers have small hole in the rubber backing to aim at for drilling, see pic

And fitted after marking and drilling the OE pedals .....classy and will last longer
