Sill repair

Postby Li5 » Mon Dec 21, 2015 1:55 pm

So my little one has finally succumb to the rust

Just taken her for a quote £400 each side as some up to top of rear arch as well as usual sills. To do that, respray including bumper about £1000.... which is what insurers think she is worth....

If I go for respary of back end upto front of doors we're talking £1300, this job would need car for 2 weeks

So how does that sound to you guys in the know. I did ask if I could have photographs taken as means of showing other owners their good work (have seen some of their work myself)

Thanks wazza99. I did think it wasn't unreasonable.

Need to get back to them as they didn't know about a panel a certain company supply, see if it makes a difference either way. Then just to decide how much re-spray to go for

I did ask local guy if I could have photos of work during the course, they are happy for that (I did mention Mazdamenders being national & beyond) also useful for other owners to see their work.
Looks like my rust (well, car actually  ) could be similar to yours, so a good comparison :handgestures-thumbup:
