Squeaky clutch

Postby craaazymonkey » Mon Aug 24, 2015 9:07 pm

Squeaky clutch. Hot or cold, doesn't matter. Neutral or 70mph, doesn't matter. Doesn't seem to change pitch with engine speed. Only thing that makes a difference is where the clutch pedal is. If it's depressed to just before it starts slipping then the squeaking stops entirely. Anyone any thoughts as to what my problem might be?

I've been told that if you lube up the slave rod at the end where the lever is, it should stop. (I have this problem too, but only occasionally. My clutch is new and its been checked)
