A warning about a EBAY seller on these latch buttons

Postby Mazda Mender » Wed Oct 28, 2020 8:21 am

It as been brought to our notice that there is an EBAY seller from Manchester 3D printing these buttons off and selling them through EBAY and god knows where else...

PLEASE let me make this 100% clear regardless of what any one tells you about these items and them being 3D printed ...

You are getting ripped off and wasting money...

They are "NOT" as safe and strong as the "MOLDED" buttons we recommend , they are "DANGEROUS" and i use that word very solidly

They "will" not last long and "will" break, because of the 5p plastic off a printer, regardless of the settings/thickness the machine is set at, do you really want your soft top latches or hard top popping open at speed on the motorways? when the button as snapped from being under pressure, with the also the wear and tear these will not be up to, how do we know this , because we went down that route first many moons ago with the best materials that can be used and they failed, so after a lot of different compounds and molds to get them correct and testing these endlessly, they now are on offer, safe solid and correct with my personal approval and tests to say 100% these are a great fix to an issue .

PLease be very careful where and who you are getting these off, we did not put the time in for you lot for nothing, details below of the dodgy ebay rip off merchant...

If it does not carry the mazdamenders badge of approval, then don't buy them...

Hi,
Thanks for this warning. I did not know that these repair parts existed. I do have a worn latch so I think I'll be ordering a pair.
