Centre caps...thinking out of the box

Postby Mazda Mender » Tue May 01, 2018 6:32 am

Anyone struggling for centre caps?? Go and get some Aldi cheese cake pots or similar brand...in this case a pack of 3...so 6 x strawberry to force down my neck...oh the struggle.. :-D
So after you have emptied the pots...assuming you have checked that they will fit as you might need to try a couple of different brands before finding what works,( watch that waist line),clean and dry them...

Push the pot from the back to the front so the front is even.

Mark the back of the pot that stands proud of the rim after nudging it so it is flush at the front...

Pop it back out and cut it with a utility knife or scissors...

Once cut either spray the inside of the pot with your chosen colour...in this case black...or use a magic marker..

Once dry push it back into the rim all nice and flush and as I have done bought some stick on centre badges of the correct size.,make sure the pot is clean before sticking the badge on..

And that's it...no one will know what they are...

Pictures below , hope this saves someone cash.......

Get your cheese cake pots of the correct size needed and empty contents .... :-D
