Not into drifting much

Postby Tonys baby mk 1 » Tue Feb 24, 2015 11:03 pm

Hi , iv only had my 5 since august , still carefully sussing out what she can and shouldnt do really , corners superbly i find and at a speed that leaves others behind on dry roads never a dodgy moment but im still feeling my way , thing is lately iv read of a lot of unintentional drifts if powering on on a bend esp in the wet it seems . My question is , is this something to be careful of as its rear wheel drive and a potential hazard or just a case of normal common sense ? EG , my car has michelins on but i was going to change them this year as they are about 6 years old i reckon though plenty of grip and tread , i guess the only way to find out is to keep pushing the limits ,,,,,gradually .

:text-imwithstupid: though he might mean geometry.
It is rear wheel drive with no sophisticated electronic aids. Less skids= less right foot. More skids= more right foot.
