Aircon 'O' ring Torque

Postby threeflies » Mon Oct 21, 2013 4:58 pm

Hey All

I'm having a couple of 'O' rings replaced at the end of the week and can't seem to find any torque settings for the bolts shown in the picture below. MK2.5 2002 , Any Ideas ?

This makes sense , finger tight then nip it up so you don't squeeze the 'o' ring into mush :text-goodpost:

Off, loose, finger tght, tight, FT, FT grrrr, FT double grrr, sh*t snapped it :handgestures-thumbup:

I have been through everything i have on workshop manuals and cannot find anything listed on those bolts for the torque settings, so stick with tight and a nip up. :handgestures-thumbup:

Wow.

Looking forward to installing an air con in my MK2. Later this August.

Does anyone have the same manual for an MK2 1.8 ?

By any chance.
