All gone a bit odd with Flux

Postby Ricolas » Wed Feb 11, 2015 11:45 am

Successful renewal six months ago for my cars.

Today I get an email saying I owe them £15 for Personal Accident Cover on the second car. Which is odd as it is not mentioned on any of the documents that I have from them.
So I am being asked to pay for something that I apparently do not have on my insurance documents, and half a year late. Ringing them was as useful as a chocolate teapot, and I don't know how much fuss it is worth making over £15.

But it will give me significant pause for thought at renewal time.

So I checked my legal position quickly, and was advised to pay, and then raise an official complaint.

I rang Flux back to pay.

THIS TIME I got an absolutely lovely lady, who could not do enough, spoke to a manager, and got them to agree to write off the extra £15. :handgestures-thumbup:

Moral of the story: I will be renewing with Flux because I got customer service above and beyond the call of duty, with politeness and a willingness to see it from the customers point of view. (Black mark for it taking two goes though! )

Not had a problem with Adrian Flux, in fact, I even insured my beloved Honda Super Blackbird with them this year, very competitive in all respects, hoping for a similar outcome when the insurance for the Vdub is due!!
1993 1.6 Eunos Roadster (gone)
1998 UK Mk 2 1.6 (gone)
2003 1.8 SVT Sport (shouldnt have sold it)
1991 1.6 Eunos Roadster with a bit of bling.

Life is a journey, best travelled topless in an MX5!!
