OK here goes
My 1.8 live on back of my recovery truck put key in and cranked over .on getting car off truck earth strap on ppf got snagged on block of wood I missed . Once off truck and on road turned key and nothing happened refitted earth strap but still nothing just a battery light on dash. Checked main relay and all fuses.
Checked footwell for water ecu side nothing.
All ecu plugs all look as new.
Is the damage already done by ppf earth coming off and turning key before refitting strap. What else can I check???

Interesting situation. Dont see how a failed/fouled earth could cause such symptoms. But a few years back a stuck egr valve cost me a ECU and sundries so nothing surprises me with auto electrics.
