Hello all.

Postby MXFiver » Wed Jan 26, 2022 6:18 pm

Hi everyone.
I've just registered so thought I'd say a quick hello.
My car is a Twilight blue mica 1.8 NB that I've owned for about 5 1/2 years. I'm the third owner and she was in a pretty rough shape when I got her but she was cheap.
At the time I planned on doing all sorts of modifications to her including welding the doors shut, removing the soft top and only using a full tonneau. On run back home I discovered how lovely she was to drive which meant much of that butchery was shelved and I changed tack.
Since buying her I've had both rear sills and arches welded as well as the front chassis rails.
Other mods are largely cosmetic and like many of these little gems she's an ongoing project.
Hopefully these forums will help me get to grips with any issues that rear their ugly heads.
Thanks for having me aboard.
All the best,
Guy

Glad to have you Guy, we are here to help as we are geared around hands on ,all you need to do is ask and one of us will be happy to help.
Have a good nosey around there is lots of info and advice to be used, with plenty being built in the back ground for everyone to use and help keep our passions on the roads.
There is a build/ owners section that we post in of the progress of our roadsters, which is also handy to everyone to use and log dates and times as a on line history for what ever you please or need , she was built to be used for everyone.
So on that note ,let's see the old girl and start a ownership thread in there for us to nosey at, warts and all..... :text-worthless: :handgestures-thumbup: :coffee:

Welcome to the Menders Madness.

I'm not an expert but already learnt a lot from asking questions and reading build threads, still loads more to digest which is good as I'm under Drs orders for a couple of weeks so plenty of time to use up.

As Mm says, pop up some pickies.
1993 1.6 Eunos Roadster (gone)
1998 UK Mk 2 1.6 (gone)
2003 1.8 SVT Sport (shouldnt have sold it)
1991 1.6 Eunos Roadster with a bit of bling.

Life is a journey, best travelled topless in an MX5!!
