I’m a mechanic be trade, which is how I came across the car. It failed it’s mot at my garage so I decided to take it off the previous owners hands. Actually the second NB I’ve owned but the other was in a very poor state body wise so I replaced the clutch and moved her on to a friend of mine. I’m this cars third owner, first owner bought the car in Maidenhead and some years later gave it to her daughter who I bought it off of. I have the full service history including the original sales receipt which I personally find really cool.
So far I’ve welded up the sill where they all rust and given her a service, plugs, leads, coil pack and pads and at the moment she’s ok. Have a fault which if I don’t fix tonight il start a thread on tomorrow.
