The car could do with a couple of front wings, retrimmed seats, refurb of the wheel/gear knob/handbreak and then some paint tidy up.

It seems very solid rear arch/sill wise, but rust is not so much of an issue as welding is free!

I'm already really taken by the car, it's had a fair bit of money spent on it recently and it was fairly well priced imo.

My current project is coming to a climax (restoring a Herald which I'm taking on the Mongol rally in 2 weeks time - www.mongoltriumph.com) so from September this will become my new project. I think this winter it will be a case of tidying up the inside and refreshing the suspension, then next winter crack on with making sure it's solid throughout and then maybe a full respray and tan mohair hood.

Do not get a tan mohair skin...they are a nightmare to get and keep clean....go for a beige mk2 roof in vinyl...
Trust me on this one..
