Re: Replacement dashboard on 1994 Eunos Roadster
@ Jmalbar did the replacement dashboard have it's loom or did you use the cars origonal dashboard loom? ^^theres different car / dashboard looms with the connections / plugs by the steering column being an obvious one (if you look!).... and I believe that '93 or '94 is the change :confusion-confused...

Re: Treating my diff casing and frame
Diff 'pigs-head' rust removal time, it was scruffy so I attaacked it with a wire brush, then a rotary wire brush on a drill.... then Buggerit happened & I reverted to my second favourite rust removal method (behind sandblasting) - ACID  well, malt vinegar! I regularly destroy a local Aldi...

Re: Very Early Eunos 1.6
any more photo's? the really early cars differ massively to the later builds - dash clusters, wiper motors, antiroll bar thicknesses and exhausts were altered in the first year of production as well as the diff case / slam-pannel & catch colours :handgestures-thumbup: theres legend of early cars...

Re: First trackday - prep advice?
I've not trackday'd but from a ralling background would suggest... water (for you & car -including screenwash) oils / fluids. small spares like fuses etc. matching spare wheels / tyres, also check that they fit the car (inside bodywork AND over brakes  ) - also if you have spare wheelnuts...

too much positive caster angle in the suspension geometry...
added to some toe-out will cause the steering to need pulling back to centre.

Re: Mot Fail
As MM says, thats not a bad failure list :handgestures-thumbup: the welding will cost the most, you can cut a little time / cost by stripping out carpet & trim in the area as this will save the weldist clearing a fire-free zone so slightly cheaper... whats the rot like (photo's?) balljoint is pr...

Re: introduction of E10 fuel
it's been happening quietly for a while, iirc Tesco are selling 10% ethenol already - maybe for a few years? :-| realistically replacing rubber fuel-system components is about all that needs doing (how many cars have ~30 year old fuel pipes?) but theres a greater chance of water in the fuel so rusty...
