the menders is free, but like everything there is a cost to run things and bills( we are just happy its not a heating cost), so if we have saved you hundreds, please throw a small donation in the pot so we can keep on going to carry on helping others in the same way .

Hi
am I right in using premium petrol (97ron) for my 1.8 Mk2 1998? There is a sticker on the inside of the filler cap saying 'use premium unleaded'. car seems to like one garage make more than another - some seems to burn a bit smokey on start up. Other there is no problem.

new hood colour advice
Hi Just looking at a new hood for my BRG mk11. Currently has a ( very sad) tan vinyl hood but was wondering what the dark green mohair one would look like? Tan mohair looks a nightmare to keep clean! Car has tan leather seats but if the green is same tone it would look good and easier to keep I think.
