MEV Exocet

Hi guys, I would imagine some of you know my Exocet build here on the forum. Well I'm putting it up for sale. It isn't finished but most of the hard work has been done. I have to be honest with myself and i'm not finding the time for it. I have a Eunos Roadster project and just bought a Porsche 996....

Re: Hooligan youth!

I had a Mk1 Fiesta XR2, funnily enough I watched Wheeler Dealers this morning while having breakfast doing one up. Loved that car but went through a phase of Astra GTE / Kadett GSi after that but did have a Capri 3 3.0S. Then much later I had a Escort (I think Mk5/6) XR3i Convertible . Would love a ...

Re: Induction kit bracket help

I'm sure I found the original instructions in my pile of paperwork here. I'll have another look. I could scan them and email if I find them. Doubt you need them now though.

Re: Seats and rear cabin brace bar

Ok guys, Sorry the fotos have disappeared. I can relink them if anybody is interested. I would like these gone so I'm putting them on Ebay or if anybody wants to make me a sensible offer. They are taking up space but I'm not giving them away as I was originally going to keep them so I could keep the...

That's what I've had to do on the Exocet. Nobody I spoke to could identify the pins or get me any.

Re: MEV Exocet - Work in progress

Oh I did do something else forgot to post fotos yesterday. Covered the outside of the wiring tray with CF vinyl and fitted a dual USB, accessory socket and voltmeter panel. http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n69/pincherrn/MEV/C360_2016-07-13-07-17-34-779_zps8ogsf4vj.jpg http://i109.photobucket.com/a...

Re: MEV Exocet - Work in progress

Ok guys been doing little bits on the Exocet again. Tidying wiring up and fixing it in place. Mounted the instruments and tried to get the cover fitted. What an a**e. Another day of swearing at the MEV manufacturer. Can't get the cover to fit because I've mounted switches in the bottom corners. But ...

Re: My story so far

Only just seen this. I was told when I bought them that they were standard Mk2 shocks and springs. I never saw the car they came off. They did look like standard springs. I never ever used them on a car either Exocet or S Special.

How much does an alignment there cost Ian, if you don't mind me asking. Decided to put the Meisters on the S Special soon and will need an alignment.

Re: MEV Exocet - Work in progress

Been ages since I put anything on here. Wiring tidying doesn't make for good fotos. Anyway, got a morning off so thought I'd do a bit on the dash. Had to check the LED I had for BinaryPunks Low Fuel Light worked the same as the Original. It does :handgestures-thumbup: so need to get that wired in ne...

Re: New to me 1.8 Roadster

Is there a "How To" on dismantling the seats? I know a few people who could possibly stitch it if I could get the cover off.
